“Amazing service. My bass sounds and plays like a new instrument! Thanks so much for the brilliant setup, I'll definitely be bringing my other guitars here as soon as I can”
“My daughter damaged the body of her Taylor acoustic but SURREY GUITAR REPAIR repaired it with out compromising the quality of the sound or the outward appearance. Fair price for a fine job. Would not hesitate to recommend or use again (though hope the latter is not necessary!)”
Leigh, Eddie and George are former students of the highly credited South Thames College in London. Knowing that it takes a very, very, VERY long time to make just one guitar, they began their trade in repairing guitars with the knowledge and skills developed in college, once successfully graduating in 2008 & 2009, fixing guitars has been a hobby and career for them. With a huge passion for guitars, basses, mandolins, and anything else with strings basically and being musicians as well as guitar repairers, they know the attachment that all musicians have with their instruments and strive to deliver a service that is all about how the guitar ‘feels’ by the end result.
What do they do when they are not fixing pick ups or repainting a black Stratocaster white? You can catch George in live music venues in Surbiton when the moon comes out, if you're lucky you might see him and band mate Jake with a double bass banging out some tunes https://www.facebook.com/theswampstompstringband. Leigh heads operations mainly and has another business called Rockademy (www.rockademy.co.uk) which is a music academy for all musical instruments, plus the online courses at www.rockademymasters.co.uk . Eddie loves to make custom built folk instruments and playing festivals in the summer months.
Surrey guitar repairs 5* rating on Google has been there since day 1 and continues to be the norm as the trio attract many happy customers through the door each week from Surrey and the surrounding areas. They don’t need to do a massive amount of advertising because word of mouth and recommendations are plentiful, which is credit only to the work they yield consistently.
